Made In The USA

The Billy Cook saddle is a popular choice among our customers, consistently ranking as one of our Top 10 best-selling saddles year after year. Its enduring appeal can be attributed to a combination of factors, such as the deep hand-tooled 3/4 basket design and its no-frills, bulletproof ranch saddle characteristics. Discerning riders appreciate the craftsmanship and attention to detail that goes into this saddle.

Billy Cook designed this saddle specifically for heavy-duty work. It features a rawhide wrapping that enhances its strength, durability, and weather resistance. The strong 7/8 position flat plate rigging strikes a balance between on-tree and in-skirt rigging, providing close contact for precise cues without compromising on strength and durability.

The saddle boasts a solid post horn with wrap, which is more than sufficient for any kind of roping. Additionally, it features a 9″ wade-style swell that allows for free leg movement and ensures all-day comfort. The 4″ cantle, adorned with rawhide pencil roll binding and Billy’s signature basket stamping, completes the rear of the saddle.

Included as standard are a rope strand cinch, roper stirrups, and brass hardware. The presence of Billy Cook logos on the fenders, cantle, and skirt serves as a testament to the saddle’s authenticity and quality. When you ride in this saddle, everyone will recognize that you are using the real deal.

In summary, the Billy Cook saddle is a well-built workhorse that combines functionality with a custom saddle’s look and feel.
