Refund and Returns Policy


Our refund and returns policy lasts 30 days. If 30 days have passed since your purchase, we can’t offer you a full refund or exchange.

To be eligible for a return, your item must be unused and in the same condition that you received it. It must also be in the original packaging.

Several types of goods are exempt from being returned. Perishable goods such as food, flowers, newspapers, or magazines cannot be returned. We also do not accept products that are intimate or sanitary goods, hazardous materials, or flammable liquids or gases.

Shop confidently at Horse Saddle Deals – if your purchase doesn’t meet your needs, simply return it within 30 days for a refund, exchange, or replacement!

Step 1: Generate your Federal Express return label. For returns, a shipping fee of $7.95 applies to packages up to 9 pounds, with an additional charge of $1 for each extra pound. This fee will be deducted from your refund.

Step 2: Attach the label to your package and include the original invoice with your return.

Step 3: Drop off your package at a FedEx location. This service is available only within the contiguous 48 United States. Please refer below for additional options and associated charges.

For returns from outside the contiguous 48 US States, kindly arrange and prepay for return shipping. Ensure to obtain a tracking number and insurance for your package, as we cannot be held responsible for lost items. Ship packages to:

Policy Details: Manufacturer’s warranty is extended to 24 months or the full length of those warranties, whichever is longer.


  • Safety items like helmets and protective vests may be returned within 30 days of purchase with original tags intact.
  • New saddles and riding boots may be returned within 90 days of purchase, subject to a prorated refund based on usage.
  • Used saddles may be returned within 30 days of purchase.
  • Opened treats & vet meds are not returnable.
  • Horse apparel, including blankets, must be returned clean and free of debris.
  • Underwear is not returnable or exchangeable.

Special Situations: To ensure fair handling of returns and exchanges, we may require a receipt or decline a return under these circumstances:

  • Item was not directly purchased from Horse Saddle Deals – we do not accept items from used tack sales, other retailers, or online sellers.
  • Item lacks a label or has been defaced.
  • Item is wet, dirty, or contaminated until cleaned.
  • In rare cases, based on prior transactions including multiple returns of the same item.
  • Supplements that have been opened or used.
  • Personalized items may not be returned unless defective.

Gift with Purchase Policy: For a full refund or credit on a purchase with a “Gift with Purchase” or “Free Promotional Gift Card,” the gift must be returned with the qualifying order. Unused Free Promotional Gift Cards will be voided upon return. If the Promotional Gift Card has been used, its value will be deducted from the refund.

How it works:

  • Once your return is received by FedEx, it’s consolidated with other returns before delivery to our Cody, Wyoming customer service center. This typically takes between 10-21 days, depending on your location and chosen shipping method.
  • Upon arrival at Horse Saddle Deals, your package is processed within 3-5 business days for a refund or exchange.


Once your return is received and inspected, we will send you an email to notify you that we have received your returned item. We will also notify you of the approval or rejection of your refund.

If you are approved, then your refund will be processed, and a credit will automatically be applied to your credit card or original method of payment, within a certain amount of days.


  • Your refund is processed by Horse Saddle Deals and forwarded to your financial institution.
  • Your financial institution will accept the refund, typically reflecting in your account within 1-4 business days, subject to their policies and processing time.


  • Exchange items, subject to availability, are shipped within 48 business hours from our warehouse. Items from the manufacturer may take longer.
  • Your exchange order is shipped via standard shipping and usually arrives in 2-9 business days, depending on your location.


Late or missing refunds

If you haven’t received a refund yet, first check your bank account again.

Then contact your credit card company, it may take some time before your refund is officially posted.

Next, contact your bank. There is often some processing time before a refund is posted.

Sale items

Only regular priced items may be refunded. Sale items cannot be refunded.


We only replace items if they are defective or damaged. If you need to exchange it for the same item, send us an email at {email address} and send your item to: {physical address}.


If the item was marked as a gift when purchased and shipped directly to you, you’ll receive a gift credit for the value of your return. Once the returned item is received, a gift certificate will be mailed to you.

If the item wasn’t marked as a gift when purchased, or the gift giver had the order shipped to themselves to give to you later, we will send a refund to the gift giver and they will find out about your return.

Shipping Returns

To return your product, you should mail your product to: {physical address}.

You will be responsible for paying for your shipping costs for returning your item. Shipping costs are non-refundable. If you receive a refund, the cost of return shipping will be deducted from your refund.

Depending on where you live, the time it may take for your exchanged product to reach you may vary.

If you are returning more expensive items, you may consider using a trackable shipping service or purchasing shipping insurance. We don’t guarantee that we will receive your returned item.
