A new Billy Cook Western Wade saddle, ultra-light build, with a 14.5 inch seat at 27 to 30 lbs on an adjustable tree.
The Wade shape is the ranch standard: a low, forward horn strong enough to dally, a wide fork, and a deep seat that holds you when a horse turns underneath you. What it usually is not is light. A traditional working Wade runs 35 to 40 lbs, so 27 to 30 is a meaningful saving on every lift and on the horse’s back.
The adjustable tree means it can be reset as a young horse muscles up, or moved to another horse later.
Available in chestnut or natural leather. New.
