A new Powder River calf roping saddle with a 14.5 inch seat, at 35 to 40 lbs on an adjustable tree.
A calf roping saddle is built for one job and built hard for it. The horn takes the full shock of a calf hitting the end of the rope, the seat is cut so a roper can get off fast and clean, and the whole saddle is made to survive that happening several hundred times a season. Nothing about it is light, and that is deliberate.
The 35 to 40 lb weight is normal for a genuine roping saddle. If you want something light for trail riding, this is the wrong saddle.
Available in black, brown or chestnut. New, and priced as a serious competition saddle.
