A new Scott Thomas Western all-around saddle, model 1-1164, with a 15.5 inch seat, at 30 to 35 lbs on an adjustable tree.

The 15.5 inch seat is the useful detail here. Most of this range is cut at 14 and 14.5 inches, which leaves taller and larger riders squeezed. A 15.5 gives room to sit properly rather than perched forward against the swell, and that affects your position more than most riders expect.

At 30 to 35 lbs it is a solid working saddle for trail, arena and ranch jobs, and the adjustable tree lets it be fitted to different horses.

Available in black or brown. New.
