A new Billy Cook Western all-around saddle, model 1-1040, with a 14.5 inch seat, at 38 to 40 lbs on an adjustable tree.

This is the heavier end of the all-around range. That weight buys you a saddle that sits steady and takes work — roping, dragging, long ranch days — rather than one built purely for comfort. If you want light, look at the ultra-light Wades instead; if you want solid, this is it.

The adjustable tree lets it be reset for a different horse over its life.

Available in chestnut or natural leather. New.
