The Runnin’ Gun is a lightweight, conforming saddle designed by Kenda Lenseigne, featuring a Neo-Shock™ skirt and a Flex2® tree. The design allows for a low, forward-tilted swell and horn for gun clearance, while the Flex2 tree provides freedom of movement. The saddle is designed to work in synergy with the Flex2® tree, providing comfort for both the horse and rider. The exclusive Flex2® tree design ensures a lightweight saddle that won’t get wider over time.

30-day returns · $7.95 label fee

  • Every saddle is inspected - tree, billets, rigging, stitching and flocking - and repaired before it goes on sale.
  • Gullet width and bar type are recorded so you can check the fit.

Kenda Lenseigne’s signature mounted shooting saddle, built on Circle Y’s Flex2 KL Shooter tree in Regular and Wide.

Mounted shooting asks two things of a saddle. It has to let you move, and it has to stay out of the way of a drawn revolver. That is why the swell and horn are low and tilted forward for gun clearance, with the horn at 2 1/2 inch on the neck and a 1 3/4 inch cap, and why the cantle is a moderate 4 1/2 inch. You can turn, reach and reload without the saddle fighting you.

Underneath is a Neo-Shock skirt with a neoprene filler that moulds to the horse’s back and absorbs the shock of a hard run, while keeping the saddle lighter than the equivalent in solid leather. Seven eighths dropped in skirt rigging keeps the cinch clear of your leg.

The finish is three quarter Arizona Flower hand tooling in chestnut with a walnut antique, a hard seat with a faux Stormy Sky gator inlay, custom conchos, antique spot trim and Revolver hardware.

On fit, Circle Y does not publish a gullet measurement for this model. It comes in Regular and Wide tree, so if you are between the two, call us before ordering rather than after.
