An 18 inch Arthur Kottas Imperial dressage saddle in a wide fit, and in genuinely impeccable used condition.
It has always been ridden with a seat cover, so the seat still looks new, and the billets are in great condition too. Billets are worth checking on any used dressage saddle: they take the strain of the girth and they are expensive to replace.
What makes it work for the horse is the spacious wide channel and gullet. A generous channel keeps pressure off the spine, and a wide gullet suits a broader-backed or well-muscled horse rather than a sharp-withered one. It is a genuinely comfortable saddle to sit in, and it puts you in a good position without forcing it.
An 18 inch seat suits a taller rider. If you normally ride in a 17.5, this will feel roomy.
