A 17.25 inch brown leather English saddle on a 29 tree, wool flocked.
Wool flocking is the reason to look at this one. Unlike foam panels, wool can be adjusted by a saddle fitter — added, removed or redistributed as your horse changes shape through the seasons or through work. A saddle that can be reflocked stays fitting a horse for years.
We will be straight about the marks, because you will see them: there is a ding on the cantle, another under the front of the pommel, and rubs on the underside from a saddle stand. They are cosmetic.
The tree is sound, which is the part that actually matters. A sound tree with honest cosmetic wear is a far better buy than a pretty saddle with a twisted tree.
