A 2013 Martha Josey Ultimate Colours barrel saddle with a 14.5 inch seat, in great condition, and it is the details that make it worth a look.

The numbers: a 4 inch cantle to hold you through a turn, a 4 inch horn, a 25 inch skirt, a regular tree with a 6¾ inch gullet, and 26 lb on the scales. The 25 inch skirt is short enough to stay clear of the loins on a shorter-backed horse, and the regular tree with a 6¾ gullet suits the average quarter horse type rather than a wide, flat-backed one. Measure your horse against that gullet before you buy.

The seat is giraffe print, so this is not a saddle that hides in the warm-up pen, and there is a lot of silver on it. The stirrups are new.

It was won at a show rather than worked every weekend, which is usually why a saddle this age is still in this condition.
