Two separate routes, and this is the one to pick if you want to ride the saddle: try it for 14 days without paying the full amount. A straight purchase can only be sent back unused.
The trial carries a shipping and return fee, shown as an option at checkout.
Ride it on your own horse and send it back if the fit is wrong.

30-day returns · $7.95 label fee

You have 30 days from purchase to return an item.
It must be unused, in the same condition you received it, and in its original packaging. If you want to ride it first, take the 14-day trial above instead.
Return shipping is paid by the customer: $7.95 for the FedEx return label, deducted from your refund. Attach it and include the original invoice.

Every saddle is inspected - tree, billets, rigging, stitching and flocking - and repaired before it goes on sale.
Gullet width and bar type are recorded so you can check the fit.
Send us photos or a wither tracing and we will tell you honestly whether it suits your horse.

A Double J Saddlery Brittany Pozzi barrel saddle, model SBP376, with a 14.5 inch seat. This is a competition saddle built to a professional barrel racer’s specification.

It is made in Hermann Oak skirting leather with honeycomb tooling, and finished the way Double J finish a signature saddle: a suede seat with a gator flower, turquoise patina nailheads on the front of the fork, more turquoise nailheads across the back of the skirt, a Cheyenne roll, and turquoise cross conchos.

The working parts match the finish. The hardware is custom-designed stainless steel, the horn is leather-wrapped, the skirt is fleece lined, and it runs aluminium stirrups — light, which is what you want on a saddle that has to be quick.

The suede seat grips through a turn, and the 14.5 inch size suits a smaller rider or anyone who likes to sit tight in a barrel seat.
