Two separate routes, and this is the one to pick if you want to ride the saddle: try it for 14 days without paying the full amount. A straight purchase can only be sent back unused.
The trial carries a shipping and return fee, shown as an option at checkout.
Ride it on your own horse and send it back if the fit is wrong.

30-day returns · $7.95 label fee

You have 30 days from purchase to return an item.
It must be unused, in the same condition you received it, and in its original packaging. If you want to ride it first, take the 14-day trial above instead.
Return shipping is paid by the customer: $7.95 for the FedEx return label, deducted from your refund. Attach it and include the original invoice.

Every saddle is inspected - tree, billets, rigging, stitching and flocking - and repaired before it goes on sale.
Gullet width and bar type are recorded so you can check the fit.
Send us photos or a wither tracing and we will tell you honestly whether it suits your horse.

A 13 inch King Series youth western saddle, American made, clean and ready to ride.

The numbers a parent needs: a 6 inch gullet on semi quarter horse bars, a 22 inch skirt, and 18 lbs. The semi QH bars with a 6 inch gullet suit an average-built pony or small horse — not a wide, round native type, and not a narrow thoroughbred sort.

The 22 inch skirt is short, which is what makes it a genuine youth saddle rather than a small adult one. On a pony’s shorter back, a full-length skirt sits over the loins and causes soreness.

At 18 lbs, a child of the right age can carry and tack up on their own, which does more for their riding than most equipment ever will.

Good quality thick leather on a Ralide tree, a moulded synthetic that stands up to being dropped, left out and generally treated the way children treat tack.
