What saddle is comfortable for a mule?
One fitted to that individual mule. Many mules have flat or low withers, a short flat back and a narrower build, but this varies a great deal with the dam, whether pony, light horse or draft. Look for flat, wider-than-average bars sized to the mule, and shorter bars if it is short-backed.
